Title:Beschuit met Muisjes
This photo is the literal representation of a Dutch tradition for celebrating new born babies. New parents distrute toast with anise granules called "muisjes" meaning little mice.
Biography:
My name is Ellen Reus and I was born in 1973 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. I loved photography even as a child. My first camera was an Afga Klack, followed by a compact camera. Later on I used the Canonnet from my mother, till at last I saved enough money to buy my first SLR camera.
In 2007, I started my own company 'Wolves fotografie'. I love my job and price myself very lucky to make a living from my passion. |
