Honorable Mention Title: Apricot Delight I was going for a painterly look with the crashing waves slightly blurred to depict a subtle movement and while this serene image looks like it would be an easy capture, I was in constant movement with the ebb and flow of the waves. Each time a wave would receded I would race up as close as I could to the waters edge and set up. My tripod kept sinking into the wet sand so I couldn't set the camera to any more than a 2 second exposure. I captured a handful of shots before the amazing apricot sunrise disappeared and out of all of the images, this was the only shot that had the texture in the foreground that I was looking for.
