Title:Blue In Green
A facade can arouse feelings that to me come close to listening to music. This is one of them. By association it made me think of a quiet piece of jazz music. Balanced, yet full of subtle changes.
Biography:
Geometric patterns, rhythm and lines are driving forces in my work. What fascinates me in photography is the interplay between realistic registration and geometric abstraction. This is why I often choose to photograph (elements of) architecture. Apart from its functions (housing, office space, contemplation), architecture also has a graphical, abstract dimension which is a primary focus of my photography. |
