Title:Paradise of Reflections
Just after sunset, people started returning home across the water. The event lit up the rooms in this residential building, casting some fantastic reflections in the Amstel river of Amsterdam.
Biography:
Geometric patterns, rhythm and lines are driving forces in my work. What fascinates me in photography is the interplay between realistic registration and geometric abstraction. This is why I often choose to photograph (elements of) architecture. Apart from its functions (housing, office space, contemplation), architecture also has a graphical, abstract dimension which is a primary focus of my photography. |
