Title:Under the Same Sun (2)
Series to raise awareness about the circumstances of children with albinism in Tanzania. They are taught that they are evil and, due to superstitions, they live in constant fear of brutal attacks.
Biography:
After finishing her MBA, Marinka's studies in Buddhist Psychology guided her philosophical journey to the Photo Academy in Amsterdam stimulating her to channel her concepts & feelings into images. Her photography revolves around people and is a constant reflection of her passion & fascination for human nature and the way we live our lives. Marinka's work has been exhibited in Px3 Exhibition in Paris, Swedish Museum of Photography, ArtWest & Gallery Beeldend Gesproken Amsterdam, Photoville New York, International Photo Festival Leiden and featured at the Royal Geographical Society in London. |
