Title:Fierce Grace 1 Dance Study is a series of images dedicated to the beauty and grace of dance and the sheer power of human physical performance. This is an interaction between two worlds that I like to define as "Graceful Fierce". It is aimed to celebrate the brilliant talent of these amazing dancers from the New York City Ballet Group, as well recognize their athleticism, as they are propelled into motion by internal forces and often buffeted by external ones. I have always been in love with motion. A model bounding through grid-locked traffic in Manhattan, a ballet dancer suspended in mid-air after a joyous leap skyward, a chase of two skiers racing down a mountainside at death-defying speeds... twin maelstroms of adrenaline and swirling snow.
