Biography:
Julianne Rose is an Australian photographer living in Paris. She works with visual medias (photography, video, installations) to explore corporal representation in modern society, identity & childhood. Her work is situated on the boundaries which define identity, somewhere between reality & fantasy. Her images, often portraits of children or women, are as aesthetic as they are troubling. Since 2006 Julianne's works have been exhibited in galleries, art fairs & museums internationally (Palais de Tokyo, Coreana Art Museum & Nam June Paik Artcenter Seoul, Australian Embassy Paris). |
