Title:Close to Heaven (1)
With 'Close to Heaven' photo series I place special emphasis on sacral and secular buildings' vaults and spotlight the powerful serenity of balanced play of light far from the daily hustle and bustle. The character of these pictures is based on my specific approach to architectural photography: I attach great importance to reflecting the architect's intention in my photo art and to even interpreting it by a perspective and picture composition that focuses on the essential. With Close to Heaven and unusual perspectives I want to inspire people to perceive something new every once in a while by looking upwards – and thus leave the daily routine behind for a moment.

Biography: Stephan Huger, born 1964 in Vienna. Lives and works in Vienna. In the course of his career as a photographer, Stephan Huger has made his specialty in architecture and portrait photography. In these branches he is active for international companies. In June 2016 he was distinguished as a "Master Qualified European Photographer" at Brussels.
