Title:Syrian refugees
Taken on the border of Lebanon and Syria, these children play in the uncertainty of makeshift camps, continually dreading the day when they will be forced back to their destroyed homeland.
Biography:
Alec Von Bargen captures aesthetic instances resonating true with their historical, political and social contexts. Most recently Alec exhibited at the 56th and 54th Venice Biennale, at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, at the International Festival of Photography in Arles and at the OCAT Contemporary Art Terminal Museum in Shanghai. He has won numerous international awards and is included in private and public collections worldwide. He works all over the world, resting at home in the Mayan jungle. |
