Title:WONDER IS MY NAME
WONDER, very rare albino Turkey Vulture, now at the Ojai Raptor Center. Poor eyesight means he would be unsafe in the wild. Not technically raptors, they feed on carrion, live in "communities".
Biography:
Janice Tieken's visual art, poetry, and photography have been published and showcased in museums and galleries internationally and she has won numerous awards. Ongoing series include ORCHID REQUIEM, NAKED LUNCH, The Trees, The Tides, Islands, and Drive-By’s.
She has a BFA from Otis Art Institute; a Master's in Psychology, and a professional MFT license.
Her recently published book, Condor Dolly, supporting efforts to save the California Condor from extinction, is now in the archives of the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum.
