Zattere Honorable Mention
Title:Zattere
"Zattere" is part of ongoing project "Watermark" which depicts Venice only in winter, since 2016, producing a highly personal geography of places and figures. Zattere is the dock area in front of Giudecca island in Venetian laguna, dear to Russian poet Josif Brodky, by whom the series is inspired.

Biography: Angela Di Finizio works with photography as a refined way to investigate reality. She explores hidden intimations of humanity, even in abstract or inanimate subjects, thus producing a highly personal geography of places and figures. She finds inspiration in other art forms and cinema, but is most interested in how language and image interact and encourage creative expression.
