Title:Faces Behind Atrocity
This collaborative project aims to make visible the lives of survivors of human trafficking by engaging survivors in the creative process about how to tell and represent their own personal stories.
Biography:
Currently, living in Boston Matilde Simas, studied at Suffolk University in Boston and studied photography at the Rhode Island School of Design. In 2017, she founded the organization “Capture Humanity”. For her work, which has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions worldwide, she has received multiple awards. |
