Title:Barred Owl This image was captured in the woods above my home on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada. Elusive is the Barred Owl and my husband and I searched through these woods looking for one during our hikes here. So I was surprised and thrilled to come across her during one of our hikes recently. She sat on the branch for quite a while with her eyes glued to our dog crashing around in the bushes below - which gave me the opportunity to take this image.
