Honorable Mention
Title:Celestial Vision
This is the interior view of a small greenhouse I discovered in Brooklyn, New York. The incoming sunlight made the tainted glasswork shine like a lantern. I was lying on the ground looking up.
Biography:
Geometric patterns, rhythm and lines are driving forces in my work. What fascinates me in photography is the interplay between realistic registration and geometric abstraction. This is why I often choose to photograph (elements of) architecture. Apart from its functions (housing, office space, contemplation), architecture also has a graphical, abstract dimension which is a primary focus of my photography. |
