Title:Klare the Glance
This beautiful Scottish woman who was one of my favorite models, created an aura surrounding her like that of an 18th-century noblewoman. And in this particular photograph as she glanced softly in my direction I knew that this would be the most sublime image of her that I would ever take.
Biography:
I have been pursuing a career as a fine art photographer since I since I began to travel in my early 20s. Having studied painting sculpture and design at the Chicago Art Institute the addition of photography as another manifestation the visual arts seemed only logical.
Many famous American photographers such as Irving Penn and Gordon Parks were also active in the field of painting and drawing. My interest in the abstract art of the mid-20th century manifested itself in my fine art photography which included abstract color photographs of walls and other architectural elements.
