Biography:
Award-winning photographer, Gillian Marshall has an innate passion for South Asia, which she believes is the legacy of her late uncle, who, in the 1930's, served as a British Political Officer in Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim. In recent years, Gillian spent most of her time in the beautiful World Heritage town of Luang Prabang, Laos, where she served as a volunteer English teacher, working part-time at one of the town's beautiful 5-star hotels, and discovered colorful opportunities for photographing the life around her.
