3rd Place - Honor of Distinction Title:Determination The image is of an athlete in the World Police and Fire Games. As a sports photographer I endeavor to capture many aspects of the athletic event – emotion, finesses, strength, determination, elation, disappointment. This photo is one of a series on determination. This participant was equally as good with his left arm as he was with his right. But what set him aside from some of the other athletes was his determination to win.
