Title:Memories of Independence Day of Ukraine
Independence Day of Ukraine was the state holiday in Ukraine, celebrated on 24 August in commemoration of the Declaration of Independence of 1991. This is the 1st year that it was not celebrated.
Biography:
Jonathan Banks studied under the prolific artist John Blakemore and graduated from the University of Derby with a 2:1 BA honours in Photographic studies in June 1993. He won the Jessops student of the year award and went on to gain sponsorship with Kodak where he produced several bodies of work for a touring exhibition. He has freelanced with all the broadsheets and many world class magazines and now is represented by Eyevine. His editorial and commercial photography has been published in various books, been widely exhibited and has picked up a number of international awards. |
