Biography:
Cortez Austin is a nature photographer, writer, speaker and teacher with a degree in zoology and graduate work in conservation, ecology, and microbiology. His specialty is bird photography but he makes frequent forays into other areas such as mammals, landscapes, flowers, and macro. His passion for nature goes back to early childhood. Not due to any suggestion or instruction, he says it was just there. It fueled his continuing education and career as a photographer since he bought a 35 mm camera from a friend over 30 years ago.
