Biography:
Anja Hitzenberger is a photographer, filmmaker whose work focuses on the body and its relationship to architecture and space. Her photography work has been exhibited in New York and throughout Europe, and published internationally in magazines, books and newspapers. Her film work has been seen at festivals throughout Europe, the United States, South America and Asia. She has received numerous grants, including a Swing Space grant from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council to create "Changing Room," a site-specific photography installation with live performance.
