In Indian villages, families are hold together by the paterfamilias. It is an essential part of Indian culture. Here in this picture, the old grandfather in the village of Gourdaha In South 24-Pargana, West Bengal, keeps them flock together by narrating the fairy stories.

Biography:
Chandan is self-employed. He is 52 years old. He is married and has two sons. He has been honored with “EFIAP” distinction by the Federation International Art Photography in 2008.
Since 1999, he has been receiving recognitions from various national and international salons and competitions from countries like, Argentina, Bulgaria, China, Japan, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Indonesia, Poland etc.
