Title:Mangiafuoco (01-2010) Haridwar, the northwest bank of the Ganges, is the least populated part of the city. This man lived under a huge tree; his roof was made out of plastic. The sacred fire was burning at his feet and there was a small alter for the offers to the gods. Three cats were lazily wandering around. Although I understood nothing of what the man said to me, his memory is one of the strongest I have. His eyes and everything surrounding him could tell a thousand tales.
