Title:Red Rooster Cafe
This photograph was taken in the Red Rooster Cafe, located in the small town of Mineral Point, Wisconsin on the weekend of the 4th of July. I felt the display in our booth was an iconic image that captured the patriotic spirit of a small town in the Midwestern United States.
Biography:
Michael Knapstein's work has received national and international recognition for more than 50 years. His photographs have been exhibited in 22 countries on five continents. His work is also included in the permanent collections of several museums including the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography, the Racine Art Museum and the Dubuque Museum of Art. |
