Title:Alzheimer's
Alzheimer's disease goes through seven stages before reducing the patient to a fetal position and then to death. Among these stages the identity of the individual is gradually erased due to loss of memory. The vision of reality is distorted because nothing they do is in accordance with the environment in which they think they live. The mimesis of reality serves in some way to assuage their sense of loss of space and time and, somehow, return parts of life lost.
Biography:
Moria De Zen did visual studies on communication and photography at the prestigiuos NABA (New Fine Arts Academy) in Milan, where she graduated with honours. She then continued her studies in London where she lived for two years. On her return to Italy she worked independently with advertising agencies and companies on a wide range of commercial and advertising assignments. In 2003 she set up her own studio and advertising agency.
