Lord Norman Foster of Thames Bank OM. Architect, Chairman and Founder, Foster + Partners. Lord Norman Foster drawing a sketch of the Swiss Re tower, a skyscraper and architectural symbol of London, much known as "the Gherkin". Originally a series of 6 images; but only two have been approved by Foster + Partners.

Biography: Originally from Belgium, Douglas Vernimmen gained his Ph.D. at the University of Liege before coming to Oxford to continue his studies. He developed an early interest in photography, and his work has been shown in about 100 salons covering 50 countries from Asia to the USA. He is the recipient of over 300 international awards and is now based in the beautiful City of Edinburgh.
