The image, shot in the Grand Teton National Park, is among a collection of images shot in Wyoming a part of which has been juried into a Solo Show scheduled for June 2013 at the Art League Gallery in Old Town Alexandria's Torpedo Factory Art Center. I confess some of my shooting in Wyoming was motivated by some very old memories of the 1950's classic movie "Shane" and the abstract, fine art quality to the other images shot there that will be featured in the June show has prompted me to alert Senators Enzi and Barrasso and Congresswoman Lummis to the event.

Biography: ARTIST'S STATEMENT: Precisely where my interest in photography originated is difficult to pinpoint. I can only attest to the fact that I have spent a lifetime fascinated with the visual and artistic aspects of my surroundings while enjoying a serious amateur interest in photography. The images I’ve chosen to share were selected in the hope they will explain some of what motivates me to take pictures in the first place.
