2nd Place - Merit of Excellence
Title:First Light
Having seen a photo of the magical Moraine Lake spurred me to challenge myself to capture it in a different light. Upon reaching, clouds obscured the sunlight at first but soon the rays pierced through momentarily, just enough time for a few captures.
Biography:
Deng Weizhong is a professional photographer based in Singapore. His work has been internationally recognised for their breathtaking detail and surreal qualities. On top of having published work in magazines and photography websites, he was also finalist and winner in competitions such as the International Photography Awards, Photography Masters Cup, Travel Without Borders and Asia Without Borders by Asian Geographic magazine.
