My interest in photography primarily evolved from a desire to paint. I intended to use the photographs to study the subject in greater depth but became so fascinated at how different the world looked through my lens that I fell in love with taking pictures instead.
Flowers have always held a particular fascination for me and each one seems to have it’s own personality. There is a sensuality to the folds of their petals and a decadence to their colour and texture that no couturier can match.
