Title:SIRE Children Marked for Life
This image was commissioned by 180 Amsterdam/ SIRE for a campaign titled "Marked for Life". The campaign was to raise awareness of the affects that divorce can have on children.
Biography:
In 2010 Laura received first prize in the Portrait Singles category of the World Press Photo awards
Her work has also won and been shortlisted for several other awards and has been extensively published and exhibited worldwide including The National Portrait Gallery, The Houses of Parliment and the Royal Festival Hall in London.
“My work focuses on social documentary and portraiture and often explores the complex relationship between subject and photographer. I strive to create imagery that provokes an emotional reaction and connection between viewer and sitter.
