Title:Swan Lake Whooper Swans at Lake Kussharo where they nest in the nearby trees. Along the lake are several hot springs and sandy beaches, warmed by the composite volcano, Nakajima. The Volcanic gases which heat the waters, producing steam, give the area an ethereal and dreamy ambiance.
