Title:Tiger Love The image I photographed was of two tigers who were raised together as cubs and loved one another their whole lives. They resided in Big Cat Rescue, a wonderful sanctuary for abused, abandoned and unwanted big cats. Shere Khan and China Doll inspired me when they were under the tree together wanting to be very close to one another showing their love by rubbing their heads together in the emotional gesture exhibited as only tigers do with each other. They were kept together because of the strong bond between them and lived very long and happy lives. Unfortunately, they both are gone now, but are together again forever spiritually in a better place. They were an inspiration to me and I had to capture the loving look in their eyes for one another which I hope everyone enjoyed seeing. Animals tell their story through their eyes if you take the time to really look into them. I am very honored that my photo was chosen and I was nominated along with so many wonderful photographs. Thank you to the judges and I am truly humbled by your appreciation of my work. I live to photograph animals of all kinds because they have no voice, and I try to be that voice to show the world that they are amazing creatures who have emotions and feelings just like humans.
