Honorable Mention Title:Vivid Light Play Vivid Sydney is an annual festival of light, music and ideas in the city of Sydney in Australia. Vivid Light transforms Sydney into a wonderland of 'light art' sculptures, innovative light installations and grand-scale projections for all to enjoy - for free. It is a magical celebration of light-design excellence and the world's largest outdoor 'art-gallery'. Vivid Light engages lighting artists, designers and manufacturers from around Australia and the world to illuminate, interpret and transform Sydney's urban spaces through their creative vision. This image captured during Vivid Sydney shows a young girl with a beaming smile as she runs carefree between elements of one of the light installation sculptures. It is meaningful to me simply because it displays the joy of carefree play that all young children should experience in their lives. The title of the image reflects that the child is at Play amongst Vivid Light.
