Jean-Paul Cattin
Switzerland



Biography: Jean-Paul Cattin was born in 1964 in Geneva. By the age of 14 his works were published regularly in the Swiss local press and in 1984 he completed his studies at the Photography School of Vevey. Shortly after, Cattin moved to Paris where he produced portraits, fashion and advertising campaigns. He also directed several international commercial films. Today Jean-Paul produces large-scale abstract photographs in which reality is reinterpreted in a poetic and dramatic manner. Based in Geneva Jean-Paul works in New York and London.
