A dead body floats in the Meghna River 40 hours after the sinking of the MV Miraj-4 passenger vessel at Munshigonj near Dhaka, Bangladesh, 15 May 2014. Before that 54 passenger died and 250 missing.
Biography:
Anik Rahman born in 1988 at Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a self taught freelance photojournalist based in Bangladesh, represented by Nur Photo Agency, Italy and Redux Pictures, NY, USA. Although he studied business, from the very beginning he was mostly interested in human rights, social ups and downs, politics and environmental issues. These things dragged him to set his carrier as photojournalist. His photographs have been exhibited in local and international exhibitions. He also has numerous publications locally and internationally for his singles and stories. |
