Biography: Philippe Moes is a self-taught Belgian nature photographer. Born in Lubumbashi (DRC) in 1972, he studied agronomy and pedagogy. Philippe is the author of 12 books devoted to the natural heritage of western Europe, producing both texts and images. He has won many international competitions in the USA and Europe, in categories such as birds, mammals, landscapes, plants, insects. He practices photography as an amateur, when his employment in the Wallon Public Service and his young children permit him to.
