1st Place - Outstanding Achievement Title: River Crossing The Great Migration is one of the greatest shows on earth – a journey of millions of wildebeest moving from Tanzania's Serengeti to Kenya's Maasai Mara in search of food and water. Witnessing endless herds crossing the Mara River is an extraordinary experience for the senses. The sight of thousands of wildebeest creating dust as they approach, the sound of the stampede, the smell of the wildlife and the anticipation of the crossing cannot be described in words. And to capture this spectacle of the animal kingdom in a picture was indeed a privilege.
