Biography:
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I rediscovered photography 12 years ago after watching the Sebastiao Salgado documentary, The Salt of the Earth. It was 45 years ago in high school when I was first introduced to photography during a class in my senior year. While I don't remember much about the class or what I learned, something must have stuck with me all these years that a documentary movie about Salgado would inspire me to go out and get my first digital camera and pursue the art of story telling through images.
