Title:Separation
Friday Prayers at The Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. As in other mosques in Turkey, women and men are separated by a screen. Men pray in the main section under the dome and women pray in the periphery.
Biography:
Bahar Kural is an award winning photographer specializing in abstract, fine art, landscape, street and architectural photography. Bahar has won 170 awards since she started entering prestigious international competitions in 2020. A native of Istanbul, Bahar lives in NYC with her two children where she runs her own full service real estate development firm. Bahar specializes in building small-scale developments from ground up and restoration projects in NYC and Turkey. Her passion for creating beautiful spaces goes hand-in-hand with her passion for creating unique photographic art. |
