North of the 49th parallel, it is my look at the story of a life, that of a man, that of my father. It is also my look at the call of the north, this call so strong for him.
Biography:
En trente ans de carrière, Eric Lajeunesse s’est forgé une oeuvre photographique bien
particulière et tout à fait personnelle à travers ses activités de photographe professionnel et
artistique. Photographe de l’intime, ce leica-iste est autant technicien qu’artiste. La plupart du temps,
prises sur le vif, ses photographies sont contemporaines, intemporelles, mystérieures, et riches en rythmes
poétiques. À travers ses essais photographique il dévoile au public sa perception du monde laissant libre
court à l’interprétation.
