Pan troglodyte, or Chimpanzee live in social groups consisting of males, females and their babies. Communication is through grooming, facial expression, physical display and verbal hoots.
Biography:
Jennifere Thompson is an Australian photographer specialising in wildlife and wild animal portraits. Jennifere is the founder of project ICU TOO, a continuous print exhibition from 2015-2025. ICU TOO reflects the parallel of facial expressions that primates share with humans. Jennifere has travelled to Rwanda, Tanzania and Borneo to photograph animals in the wild, as well as worldwide sanctuaries and zoos. Her most extraordinary encounters were with Mountain Gorilla in Rwanda and Orangutan in Borneo. |
