Victor Cobo (b. 1971) is a Spanish-American artist from San Francisco. His autobiographical works explore the fringes and shadows of life with a fascination to unearth secrets through lurid fantasies and surrealist imagery. Most obvious are themes relating to escapism, alter ego, isolation, eroticism, mortality and the human condition. His large-scale photographs are noted for their psychological
