Title:Sentinel Cherry, (30 Minutes at Peak Bloom) This photograph was taken at the peak bloom of the cherry trees in 2009 at the Tidal Basin in Washington DC. During the creation of this photograph an estimated 1000 tourists would have walked through the scene. This photograph is part of an ongoing book project which will benefit the Trust for The National Mall and their efforts at rehabilitating and maintaining the National Mall and its monuments.
