Title:Mother Nature
Taken on the second day of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano eruption in Iceland 2010. A few weeks later the volcano blocked most airline traffick on the northern hemisphere. A clear sign yhat Mother Earth is still the ultimate ruler. This image is straight fra RAW file and has not been processed in any way.
Biography:
Uri Golman is a full time nature- and wildlife photographer specialized in the Arctic with a strong focus on communicating local conservation in Greenland. He has published two books on Greenland and the Arctic since 2007, his latest being Arctic Light – Photographs from Greenland and the Frozen North. Canon Denmark has chosen Uri as the Danish Canon Ambassador because of his work with photography and focus on Conservation in the Arctic and in 2009 Uri became an associate member of International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP). |
