Biography:
Almost I wasn't an artist/photographer.
I grew up as a farmer's son and studied land- and watermanagement. After 15 years of working as an engineer in the consultancy I had to change my life. In four years I finished art academy, resigned, sold my house, moved to Amsterdam and started as an artist/photographer.
My work seems strongly realistic, but by combinations contrary to reality. This is an interesting paradox for me. I work objective, like a cartographer. But therefore I have to make choices, which are by definition subjective. My photo's are very sharply, full details and... |
